However you also may also want to install Android x86, Remix OS, or various other distributions of Android for x86 platforms. You also have the option of using them as a live usb, or installing them in Windows as a virtual machine. Android x86 is the most up to date distribution, but has problems obtaining apps from the official Google Play Store. Remix OS has less frequent updates, and is behind in version, but it comes with a functioning Google Play Store.
